VOLUNTEER

Progress relies on the support of over a hundred amazing volunteers to help make the event a reality.

We’re looking for volunteers with a range of skills to help welcome attendees, support with wayfinding and attendee questions, help speakers and presenters, photograph the event, manage AV or other tech, take on the social media, and more!

Aside from being the backbone of the event, this is an opportunity for folks passionate about social change to meet Australia’s top campaigners and activists, and learn from expert speakers from across the globe.

As a volunteer, you will receive free entry to Progress 2026 and be able to attend sessions whenever you are not on shift.

If you’re interested in the non-profit sector, and the progressive organisations working to shape a better country, then there’ll be much to learn at Progress.

If you’re looking to build your skills - whether in networking, communication, event management, social media or more technical skills - then there is also so much to be gained from volunteering at Progress.

Volunteer applications close mid-February; places will be offered from November onwards.
