Build skills. Build power. Start now.
Are you a student or young leader interested in learning more about how social change happens?
Change happens when people connect across issues, share lessons and build collective courage. Progress is where those connections begin and grow. Connect with campaigns and organisations from across Australia helping shape a fairer, more just and sustainable Australia.
Progress also gives you practical skills you can use immediately. Whether you’re new to advocacy or already have experience in making change happen, you’ll find ideas, tools and people who help you level up. Progress is a space built for people who want a better future.
“The [Progress] conference was a life changing and life defining moment for me, one that I will never forget for the rest of my life.”
Undergraduate and post-graduate students are eligible for:
$90 online tickets. Join us from anywhere across the continent - or from overseas. All plenaries livestreamed, and available as recordings for online participants, plus access to livestreamed breakout panels, hybrid workshops and select online-only sessions.
$180 in-person tickets. Join us in Melbourne for two days - includes your choice of 60+ in-person sessions, catering on both days, access to side-events, the Progress party and the chance to connect with and learn from thousands of changemakers.
Are you a lecturer or academic working with students interested in social change?
Here’s how you can bring your students to Progress 2026:
Share the above discounts with students to self-organise their attendance.
Bulk purchase a group of in-person or online tickets for your students.
Group discounts automatically apply at 10+ tickets when purchasing online. Special student bulk discount applies: 30% off for 30+ tickets. Email us at groups@australianprogress.org.au if your institution requires payment via invoice.
We strongly recommend encouraging students to participate on their individual devices if joining online, over a “screening or watch party” style approach. This allows students to choose their favourite of the concurrent sessions, rather than limiting to one breakout per group. A number of workshop sessions will also have participatory elements and skill-building content that are best engaged with 1:1, rather than with one big group all on the same screen!
